Sofia blanket

Making the Sofia blanket by Skylar n Me.

I got the pattern from Ravelry a while ago, made it in gray with blue border for baby originally. Now making in cream http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/womens-institute-premium-acrylic-yarn-cream/593042-1003 and light blue, http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/womens-institute-premium-acrylic-yarn-light-blue/593042-1018, using womens institute premium acrylic yarn.

It is really soft and great to work with, have used various types yarn from womens institute and always love how it works up, the pictures don’t really show well.

And so it begins again

Lol so I have just finished a massive blanket and thought what will I do now….. another blanket lol this one is about 40 inches wide. Just love making a blanket

Getting there

Border started, may do a second row of shells if I have enough wool left

The end is near

only got this left to bring together to make square, then border to out on, might just be a simple one depending on wool I have left lol

Im melting

I feel like I am going to melt under this blanket before I finish it lol its 44″ corner to corner, I also measured it against myself while sitting down and goes from my neck to toes lol

Almost ready

Almost ready to decrease, ball and a half left to go then decrease to finish, loving the colours

Corner to Corne

Not made one for a while so thought I'd do a wee c2c, loving the colours of it, only onto second ball of wool, have another eight so might make a big one

Poppy

Been a wee while since i made these, first one always the wee trial one when your just getting back to it. Done with Sirdar soukie dk, its got little sequins through it but cant even get it to show good on video but I have put both.
