To machine or not to machine

Looking for peoples input, I have made blankets etc with just wool but thinking of doing with wool and then attaching fabric to one side (maybe even stuffing for pram covers) I have seen a reasonably priced sewing machine that I think would work for this and has various stitches that can be made but I’m dubious as to if it would work or not ?? Anyone done anything like this before ?

Blanket for donation

So today I am trying to finish up donation items so I can make my first delivery to the hospital..Its just done using simple double crochet and some really soft wool, flutterby chunky by James G Brett is the particular one im using, I have it in blue, white and pink and love crocheting with it

what is a decent amount to give as a donation to hospital ? I have made 10 little hats in varying sizes so far and in the process of making a little blanket too. First time I have done this kind of thing so not sure

More blankets…..this time for Evie’s puppies

So after Evie had her puppies………Jen (the slave of said dogs lol……we’re all slaves to our pets really)

asked if I could make a blanket for each of the puppies, so here they are…Oh and I know the pink one is missing Two toes lol it was before I finished it.

Next up was…..

So the next thing I made and started to get a little more adventurous..not much though lol

I decided that I would make My Cousin Pamela, a baby blanket. She is currently pregnant with her 3rd child and 1st Boy !

There is also a hat with a MASSIVE pom pom on it which is in the pipeline.

I also want to post another picture of the blanket as I got some hand made stitch markers (only showing 3 here she made a set of 6 different ones) made for me by this lovely lady, who I’m pretty sure could make anything you asked her !
