Turquoise or Teal ?

So the picture I posted before of the hexagon with the bluey teally colour…turns out label said its Turquoise have put it beside a Blue to show difference….Let me know what you think

Trial of wool

Trying out some of the new wool and as I will be making something else ( don’t know what yet) using the hexagons etc thats the pattern i tried it out with, its a kinda teally bluey colour

 

 

 

Boyish granny square

Trying to make a granny square which doesn’t start in the traditional way as My Cousin is having a baby boy and would prefer something more little boyish……So I started this and its ended up a circle but I’m happy with it, but will keep striving to make a granny SQUARE that is more little boy like…….I find there is not so much things for little boys so this is a good challenge for me and is helping me practice various stitches and not just keeping with the safe stitches (ones I’m comfortable with, and have practised plenty)

Blanket for donation

So today I am trying to finish up donation items so I can make my first delivery to the hospital..Its just done using simple double crochet and some really soft wool, flutterby chunky by James G Brett is the particular one im using, I have it in blue, white and pink and love crocheting with it
