Too excited and nervous all at the same time

As the title suggests I’m excited and nervous at the same time.  I have only 8 More pentagons to go and that is all the pieces for Happypotamus made….Then comes the hard part of putting her together…..and if all goes well, I have a new colour scheme in mind for another lol and then after that I MAY attempt the bear that is made in the same way.

Hippos Hippos everywhere

10 Hippo parts made………..34 to go lol Hoping I can do him justice, still loving making him…….I must admit im more worried about joining him up lol
but think it will be easier for me this way rather than joining as you go.

Hippo heptagon

here is my first Hippo Heptagon, loving making these, hope i will be able to join it all together to make the hippo lol At the moment I’m doing two of each of the different ones I need just to make sure I can do them. Then will make up the quantities needed.

Happypotamus

So I bought the pattern and started to give it a go tonight, it’s the first time I have done a long double crochet too, there are a few mistakes in it but overall I am really happy with My first effort. This is the First Hexagon(first one you have to make, might not be hexagon lol)
